Pacific Lakes Village is situated on Grenada Street, between Papamoa and Mount Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty. This vibrant and growing area is known for its white sandy beaches, beautiful scenery and walking trails, and the ideal mild climate to enjoy it.
Enjoy the best of both worlds, with exquisite urban living that’s in harmony with the spectacular natural landscape. The village location is just minutes from the shops and cafes of Mount Maunganui, Papamoa and Tauranga. Rotorua and Taupo are within easy reach for a day-trip, while Auckland is just a 35-minute flight or a morning’s drive away.
Christchurch-based Generus Living Group is developing and operating Pacific Lakes Village.
A partnership exists with Mangatawa Block Incorporated (MBI) to establish a 150-year lease on the land on which the village is located. MBI has no involvement in the daily management of the village. The Maori incorporation was formed in 1957 with a total land holding of approximately 750 acres.
The people behind Generus Living Group have been involved in some of New Zealand’s best retirement villages since the early 1980s. Current developments include The Foundation, Ranfurly Village in Auckland, Pacific Coast Village in Papamoa, and The Russley Village and Holly Lea Village in Christchurch.
Generus Living Group chairman and shareholder Graham Wilkinson is the president and longest-serving member of the Retirement Villages Association Executive Committee.
